Experienced Personal Injury Lawyers
Richard A. Ingram, Jr. is a native of Georgia, born on November 26, 1959. He attended public schools in Augusta, Georgia and graduated from Westside High School in 1977. He then worked for his Dad’s masonry construction company as a brick mason for six years building schools, shopping centers, and malls throughout Georgia. It was there he inherited his parents’ strong work ethic as he helped his dad maintain the company’s fleet of trucks, tractors, and heavy machinery. In 1983, while enjoying his hobby of weightlifting Richard injured his back, sidelining him from construction work. That summer he started working at a well known law firm in Augusta known as Fleming and Blanchard, P.C. and while doing so attended Augusta College, graduating in 1987. Richard then attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He made the Dean’s list every semester and graduated at the top of his class.
In 1990, Richard returned to his native state of Georgia. He currently has offices in Atlanta and Augusta. He maintains an active personal injury practice which focuses primarily on motorcycle, scooter and bicycle accidents and wrongful death claims.
Richard’s first love for two wheels was his metallic blue Schwinn Stingray bicycle with a banana seat, sissy bar and high rise handle bars. In 1971, he got his first motorcycle at age 11, a new red Honda SL70. In 1973, he moved up to a Honda XL 100 which he frequently rode in enduro races. He won the 1975 Studhorse Enduro race in McCormick, South Carolina. Today Richard enjoys riding, maintaining and modifying his two 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also likes jumping on his scooter to run errands and cruise around the community, as well as mountain biking in distant locales. He is a true riding enthusiast!
Richard supports and rides in charity biker events all over the state. He often speaks to bike clubs and individual riders educating them about biker safety and giving them the knowledge needed to buy proper insurance coverage to protect themselves from inattentive vehicles in case of an accident. Richard is geared up to help all Georgia 2 Wheel Riders with their legal needs.
